'Update on NMOSD and MOGAD #2' Workshop

The Update on NMOSD and MOGAD #2 workshop, organized by the European Charcot Foundation in partnership with the European Network of NMOSD and MOGAD, will take place in Tokyo, Japan, on February 13-14, 2026.

About the workshop

Recent advances have transformed how we diagnose, predict outcomes, and treat NMOSD and MOGAD.

In light of these recent evolutions, the European Charcot Foundation, together with the European NMOSD & MOGAD Network and the Japanese Society for Neuroimmunology, organizes the second edition of the Update on NMOSD & MOGAD international workshop, held in Tokyo, Japan, on 13–14 February 2026.

The first day will focus on state-of-the-art updates, covering diagnosis, differential diagnosis, biomarkers, imaging, and current as well as emerging treatment strategies, complemented by case-based discussions and expert panels. The second day will be dedicated to oral and poster communications from clinical and basic research, regional perspectives with a focus on Asia, and industry-supported symposia.

To encourage broad global participation, the meeting will be accessible online with on-demand features, allowing experts worldwide to engage with the scientific content regardless of location.
