Annual BCTRIMS-ECF Joint Meeting
The Brazilian Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (BCTRIMS) and the European Charcot Foundation (ECF) are delighted to announce the 4th Annual BCTRIMS & ECF Joint Meeting, taking place virtually on 19 September 2026.
Continuing our shared commitment to advancing medical education and promoting international scientific exchange, this meeting will provide an opportunity to explore the latest developments in the understanding, diagnosis, and management of multiple sclerosis (MS) and other demyelinating disorders of the central nervous system.
Bringing together leading experts from Brazil and Europe, the Joint Meeting will offer a platform for high-level discussion and knowledge sharing. This year’s programme will focus on the optic nerve as a key structure in MS and related disorders, addressing current concepts, diagnostic challenges, emerging technologies, and their impact on clinical practice and research.
Under the theme “The Optic Nerve in MS and Related Disorders”, the scientific programme will include two dedicated sessions:
Session 1: Optic Neuritis – Clinical Phenotypes, Criteria, and Differential Diagnosis
Session 2: Imaging, Visual Outcomes, OCT/VEP, and Clinical Trials
We look forward to welcoming you online in September for this exciting scientific event.
