Why submit an abstract?
Three good reasons for submitting your abstract:
An opportunity to present and discuss your research findings with MS experts from around the world.
All accepted posters are displayed at the ECF Annual Meeting, hybrid edition. All participants can visit the posters area and network with the presenters.
All accepted posters are displayed on the ECF Annual Meeting platform.
Opportunity to belong to the ECF Young Investigators Community:
Delegates 35 years or younger (born in 1987 or after) that are accepted to present a poster automatically are eligible to participate in the Young Investigator Awards*.
The winners of the Young Investigators Awards are mentioned and their posters are displayed on the ECF website (after the Annual Meeting).
The European Charcot Foundation offers a maximum of 65 Travel Grants to Young Investigators.
- 40 travel grants for YI with poster
- 25 travel grants for ECF fellows with poster
Only Young Investigators that participate in the Young Investigator Awards are eligible for these Travel Grants. These Travel Grants may cover:
- hotel accommodation (2 nights incl. breakfast and wifi, up to a maximum of € 200 per night)
- travel expenses up to € 500 (flight, train, taxi)
The possibility to apply for a Travel Grant is presented when registering as a Young Investigator with poster. To apply for a Travel Grant, the applicant should tick the corresponding box and upload a short résumé (1/2 page), a motivation and a copy of the passport or ID. Applications will only be considered when complete.
Develop competences essential for advancing your career: presentation skills, creative skills (visual attractivity of your poster), planning and organisation skills.
The winners of the Young Investigator awards are invited to join the ECF Fellow Community, a new programme designed to pay deep attention to Young Investigators and facilitate personal contacts between ECF board members and Young Investigators.
