The chronic disease Multiple Sclerosis has in recent years evoked much medical, social and economic interest. The disease presents itself in young adults, mainly women. In many patients it produces disability over the years with severe consequences in the personal, familial and social sphere.
 
Developments in the field of diagnosis, epidemiology, genetics , pathology and treatment are fast.
All this new information, as it is generated in a small group of experts, needs to be brought to those who are in direct occupational, social and familial contact with persons with MS.
