"Clinical research with human stem cells to repair brain damage in MS patients should be intensified." This was the main conclusion of the European Charcot Foundation Symposium 2006 with 300 scientists on Multiple Sclerosis and stem cell therapy, held in Taormina, Italy on November 16-18, 2006 .
This report contains general background information and summaries of all lectures of the Taormina symposium. Moreover, the panel discussion is reported. This media-report is approved by the speakers and the board of the European Charcot Foundation.
