This Satellite Symposium is of high importance since treatment with Disease Modifying Drugs can be started earlier and earlier in the disease course. There is clear evidence that even at the first symptoms and signs (CIS) of MS, treatment is effective on relapses and probably also on progression. The early diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis therefore has to be very reliable.
